The Process

Contact
Send me a message with the type of session you are looking for, along with the date you have in mind!

Discuss Details and Book!
We will chat via email, text, or phone to determine the best date, location and time for you ideal session. A booking link will be sent once a date is agreed upon.
03.
Your session!
Your session will take place on the date and time we agreed on. We will have a magical time capturing an unforgettable moment together.
04.
Gallery Delivery
Your gallery will be delivered via email in about 2-3 weeks after the session is held. Newborn sessions have a different timeline since the process is a bit different, and that will be discussed together!

Where are you located?
I am based in the Charleston, South Carolina area and have a list of preferred locations I shoot at on a regular basis. I am always open to new places and traveling around our area. Please note, some locations may require paid permits or photography fees which are not included in the session fee.
How should we dress for our family session?
A styling guide will be emailed after booking!
What’s the best age to photograph a newborn?
Newborn sessions are held within the first 14 days after birth. My favorite age to photograph a newborn is 6-8 days old. If your baby is older than 14 days, we can still have a newborn session! We just may not get all of the photos where baby is curled up as they are more aware and are more challenging to settle as the days go on.
Do you offer in-home (lifestyle) newborn sessions?
At this time I do not offer in-home sessions. They are held at my studio only.
Where do your studio sessions take place? (Newborns, milestones, smash and minis)
Sessions are held in my home studio, where creativity meets convenience! My studio provides a professional environment for capturing your special moments. Equipped with state-of-the-art lighting equipment, backdrops, and props, I offer a versatile space suitable for various photography needs, whether it’s newborns, milestones or family sessions.
My studio is designed to accommodate individuals, families, and small groups, ensuring a personalized and comfortable experience. I have an array of newborn props, swaddles, outfits, headbands and bonnets to choose from, along with outfits and props for sitters and cake smash sessions.
Located in the front half of my home in the Ladson/Summerville area, my studio offers privacy and tranquility, allowing you to relax and enjoy the creative process. I prioritize cleanliness and organization to ensure a professional atmosphere and pristine results for every session.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
No worries! I will tell you exactly what to do and guide you the entire time we are together! You will get a what to expect guide for every type of session you book to help you prepare!
When should I book my newborn session?
I suggest that newborn sessions are booked during the second trimester, but definitely before baby is born! This will get your due date on the schedule, and when your baby arrives we will schedule your actual session date and time. The window of photographing newborns is so small, and booking after your baby is born may make scheduling difficult if I don't have availability.
Can I purchase more images than what is included in my package?
Each package has a set amount of professionally edited digital images that are included. Additional images are available to purchase for $20 each. I do also offer a fantastic deal for purchasing the entire gallery as well (pricing varies depending on the amount of images delivered).
